About the position
The Case Manager I position at Catholic Charities focuses on assisting government-approved refugees in becoming self-sufficient through various support services. This role involves working directly with clients in the refugee resettlement programs, conducting intake assessments, and providing quality case management services. The Case Manager will demonstrate respect and dignity towards clients while managing multiple responsibilities independently.
Responsibilities
- Assess client eligibility for program services and complete intakes.
- Create individualized service plans for clients.
- Provide services identified on service plans in a timely manner.
- Make necessary referrals within the agency and outside as needed.
- Ensure services are provided in accordance with LEP policy.
- Maintain client files and update case notes regularly.
- Track all client information and activities in Client Track and Refugee Management Solution.
- Assist with outreach, training volunteers and interns, and airport pick-ups as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year experience in an administrative setting or with refugee populations
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to handle confidential client information
- Experience providing group and individual orientations for clients
