About the position

The Recruitment Advisor for Gamma Phi Beta plays a crucial role in guiding and mentoring collegiate chapters in their recruitment efforts. This position focuses on planning and executing activities that lead to new member recruitment while supporting the development of leadership skills among chapter officers. The advisor will work closely with the Membership department to achieve long-term membership goals and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and coach Membership department officers through educational conversations to enhance their leadership skills.
  • Encourage chapter and officer success by reviewing monthly reports and providing feedback.
  • Advise the membership vice president on recruitment plans and modifications in line with organizational policies.
  • Plan recruitment school activities and facilitate workshops to prepare the chapter for recruitment.
  • Assist in creating and implementing a year-round continuous open bidding plan to maintain recruitment efforts.
  • Support membership selection activities by ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate recruitment performance using various data sources and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Serve as a resource for the MVP and maintain regular communication to build relationships and accountability.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development for personal and chapter growth.
  • Represent membership interests on the chapter's advisory board and collaborate with recruitment supervisors.

Requirements

  • Experience in leadership and coaching roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and coach collegiate women effectively.
  • Strategic thinking skills to propose solutions to recruitment challenges.
  • Knowledge of Gamma Phi Beta and National Panhellenic Conference recruitment policies.
