About the position

Actalent is seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Career Consultant/Recruiter to join their team. This role focuses on connecting STEM professionals with career opportunities, building relationships, and supporting their career advancement. The position involves managing the full recruiting lifecycle, from understanding hiring needs to sourcing and screening candidates, and maintaining ongoing relationships with consultants.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruiting lifecycle, including meeting with hiring managers to understand their needs.
• Source qualified STEM professionals through various recruiting tools.
• Screen potential consultants through interviews and reference checks.
• Communicate work opportunities and prepare consultants for starting their new roles.
• Perform relationship-building activities, including coaching consultants for interviews and checking in on their first day of work.
• Maintain a network of consultants that align with top industry-specific skill sets.
• Build trusted relationships with your network of STEM professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service, leadership, or sales.
• Experience collaborating in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to work in a performance-based environment.

Nice-to-haves
