About the position

The Recovery Analyst position at BCforward involves performing investigative activities to recover Medicaid provider overpayments on behalf of various health services commissions. The role requires ensuring compliance with client due diligence requirements, coordinating across multiple teams, and preparing reports using Microsoft Excel to track outstanding receivables. The analyst will need a comprehensive understanding of the Texas Medicaid program and provider receivables related to claims processing and audits.

Responsibilities

• Perform investigative activities for Medicaid provider overpayment recoveries.
• Ensure recovery activities meet client due diligence requirements.
• Coordinate across multiple operations/teams to apply recovered funds.
• Prepare routine reporting using intermediate MS Excel skills to identify providers with outstanding receivables.
• Maintain an amicable relationship with clients and providers.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 2 years customer debt collections or customer complaint resolution experience
• 3 years Microsoft Excel experience
• 1 year Microsoft Word and Outlook experience.
