About The Position
SERVPRO of Alexandria is seeking a motivated Reconstruction Project Manager to join our team. This is an entry-level, full-time position offering a salary plus commission based on specific performance criteria. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in construction and project management while working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. As a Reconstruction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing reconstruction projects from start to finish while ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer satisfaction. You will coordinate crews, vendors, schedules, and documentation to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous construction or project coordination experience preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational, time-management, and leadership skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet production goals and maintain profitability
- Must be able to use a personal mobile phone for company-related communication and applications
- Clean driving record and ability to travel to job sites as needed
- Ability to successfully pass a background check in accordance with applicable law
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily operations of multiple reconstruction projects
- Ensure customer and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and completion timelines
- Ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, local codes, and scope requirements
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including photos, contracts, change orders, and permits
- Conduct end-of-day and end-of-job debriefs with supervisors and team members
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to achieve profitable outcomes
- Obtain required permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
- Submit final project documentation to the office, ensuring required profit margins are met
