About The Position

As a Receiving Specialist, you will ensure swift and accurate receipts of both raw material and finished goods to ensure process flow and accurate inventories for both production and shipping. You will work inter-departmentally to ensure proper checks and communication is completed to support our operation. You will work with our coordinator to ensure coverage and customer service to our partners throughout the organization. The role is a fast paced environment that requires good communication across several departments. Other areas will look to you for direction, help, and answers on products and receipts. It is a highly visible role that is essential for our further processing and our shipments. Leadership gives you space to lead your work, with guidance when needed. An opportunity to learn our WMS and ERP systems to help support other disciplines and to grow from this role into other potential roles within the company.

Requirements

Self-starter who can engage with a variety of departments to ensure proper handling, storage, delivery, and consumption of product.
Strong communication and collaboration skills — you’ll be working with multiple departments daily
Detail-oriented with follow-through — you own your tasks and see them through
Proficiency in JDA, SAP, and Microsoft Office Tools

Nice To Haves

TMW and Fourkites is nice to have some experience.

Responsibilities

Receive Raw Materials and co-packer products ensuring counts and weights and accurate receipt for billing and inventory purposes
Work with FSQA to ensure proper checks are completed and any dispositions are executed to the extent of direction from FSQA or other areas.
Communicate and help facilitate product movement to appropriate storage locations for consumption for further handling for both finished goods and raw materials.
Work in SAP and JDA to consume products into appropriate locations and cost centers.
