This role performs inspection functions according to Frontier's Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP) and FAA Regulations to ensure flight safety and airworthiness of Frontier aircraft. The position requires adherence to approved published procedures, performing Required Inspection Item (RII) inspections, and conducting various types of inspections including C-Check, line maintenance/RON, and receiving inspections. The inspector will also monitor maintenance, workmanship, and materials for compliance, perform on-site quality control, audit completed aircraft records, and actively participate in improving Frontier's CAMP by identifying concerns and providing suggestions. Additionally, the role involves assisting with vendor and contract agency audits, conducting On-The-Job Training (OJT), ensuring accuracy of work documents, maintaining currency on company manuals, researching pertinent information, and making FMIS entries. Safety rules and regulations, cleanliness of maintenance areas, tool control, and proper housekeeping standards are paramount. The position also includes receiving tools returned from calibration vendors, ensuring data entry for calibrated tooling, assisting in new tooling evaluation, and addressing lost/found tools according to company policies. The inspector will also evaluate aircraft equipment, tooling, and support equipment for new training topics and perform other duties as directed.
