About The Position

The primary function of the Receiving Clerk is to facilitate the process of product management through a system of perpetual inventory. This is accomplished through the resolution of inventory discrepancies and education of personnel resulting in improved inventory integrity. The role involves operating a radio frequency (RF) gun to scan merchandise, operating various equipment including cherry pickers, and performing substantial product identification. Key responsibilities include performing inventory adjustments and reconciliation of physical, documented, and electronic items, researching discrepancies, reviewing inventory status to ensure proper business practices and customer satisfaction, and creating reports to assist other departments. The clerk will also audit and report the accuracy of the cycle count process, maintain inventory balance between EWM and ECC in SAP, and report emergent issues to management. This role provides on-site support for the development of operational departments and performs other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
  • Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Detail oriented and accurate.
  • Ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trend and patterns in productivity data.
  • Prior experience in warehouse environment.
  • Prior experience in an administrative role.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob’s.

Responsibilities
