About The Position

Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day coordination, organization and supervision of various activities and services administered within the Parks and Recreation Department.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• College level course work in recreation, education, or physical education preferred
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Must be physically able to operate an automobile, various small hand tools, public address equipment, and a variety of automated office machines, which include a computer, copier, etc.
• Must be able to exert up to fifty pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to ten pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Light Work usually requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of ten to forty pounds.
