About the position

This position is responsible for supporting the Real Estate Services department in managing the company's real estate portfolio, from acquisition to disposition. The role involves maintaining property and financial data, updating documents, and ensuring compliance with reporting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Asset Managers on various day-to-day projects and administrative activities for the owned-leased real estate portfolio.
  • Review, update, and maintain the integrity of property and financial data and documents.
  • Generate quarterly reports to ensure compliance with timely and accurate reporting.
  • Procure property valuations to support management decision-making.
  • Manage compliance with lease agreements and sales contracts.
  • Administer real estate transaction closings to ensure accurate escrow processes and internal communication.
  • Assist with management of real property leases to support management decisions and financial reporting obligations.
  • Provide ad-hoc real estate analysis and support to business units.
  • Assist management with due diligence processes related to property acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Support internal and external parties with real estate transactions and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years' progressive real estate office administrative or project management experience.
  • 3+ years' real estate asset/property management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and strong spreadsheet skills, particularly with financial models using Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and initiate appropriate analysis for transactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down problems and arrive at conclusions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with a quick learning ability and internal motivation to seek answers.
  • Ability to set priorities and organize work in a high production environment under pressure.
  • Excellent consultative and communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Experience in a matrix management environment.
  • Familiarity with real estate compliance and transaction processes.
