About the position

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is seeking a Client Service Associate to join our Private Client Division in Jenkintown, PA. This role is essential for servicing clients and involves various responsibilities such as marketing, scheduling, prioritizing meetings, managing databases, and providing general organizational support. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset to anticipate business needs and will take on ad hoc responsibilities for project-oriented tasks. This position requires handling details of a highly confidential and critical nature, as well as collecting and preparing information for discussions and meetings of executive staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support, which includes but is not limited to the creation, maintenance, and editing of documents, spreadsheets, files, and presentations
  • Calendar management and coordination of meetings, including all logistics
  • Database management
  • Client interaction and service
  • Perform special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelors preferred
  • 1-2 years financial services/fixed income experience would be highly beneficial
  • Possess a high degree of proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Able to interface and articulate well with all levels of employees and clients in a highly professional and friendly manner
  • FINRA Licenses: Series 7 or SIE preferred but not required
