About the position
As a Forklift Operator at Hims & Hers, you will play a crucial role in maintaining productivity and quality standards within the warehouse for order fulfillment. This position is essential for supporting the company's growth and involves various tasks related to loading, unloading, and managing warehouse operations. You will work in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and efficiency while contributing to the overall success of the team.
Responsibilities
- Unloading and loading trailers.
- Put away and pull product in order to support production.
- Perform OSHA safety checks to ensure equipment is safe to operate.
- Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
- Adhering to safety standards and identifying hazards.
- Perform various requested tasks to assist and support warehouse leads or supervisors.
- Consistently maintain all productivity and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean work area and warehouse.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 2+ years of proficient experience on various equipment (Reach Truck, Seated Forklift).
- Proactive and motivated attitude for an energetic work environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team and independently.
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate counting when picking and packing orders.
- Physical exertion required, including walking, standing, stopping, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs.
- GED or high school diploma preferred.
