About the position
The Recovery Coach Learning Communities (RCLC) Regional Coordinator is a part-time role focused on bringing together the local Recovery Coach community to foster learning, support, and connection among Recovery Coaches. This position involves outreach to the community, planning monthly meetings, and advocating for the needs of Recovery Coaches within the DPH Bureau of Addiction Services (BSAS) Regions.
Responsibilities
- Bringing the Recovery Coach Community together to learn and support one another.
- Outreach to the community to welcome Recovery Coaches to connect with one another.
- Planning and offering monthly meetings that provide skills, encouragement, and connection.
- Being a leader in the Recovery Coach community to advocate and educate systems of care.
Requirements
- Must have lived experience.
- Must be an experienced Recovery Coach.
- Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) strongly preferred.
- Recovery Coach Supervisor experience preferred.
- Must have a thorough understanding of the peer model.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Facilitation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills and ability to multi-task.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
