Ranch Hand/Laborer

The Ranch Hand position at Olympic Game Farm involves assisting with the daily operations of the ranch, which includes a variety of physically demanding tasks related to animal care, equipment maintenance, and crop management. The role requires a reliable and hardworking individual who enjoys working outdoors and has a passion for agriculture.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on farm machinery and equipment
• Assist with planting, growing, and maintaining gardens and crops
• Repair and maintain fences, gates, and other structures
• Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, loaders, and skid steers
• Handle and care for livestock including feeding, watering, and basic medical care
• Assist with herding and sorting of animals
• Use power tools to complete tasks such as cutting wood or repairing equipment

Requirements

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor in various weather conditions
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing equipment
• Basic math skills for measuring feed or calculating dosages for animals
• Experience in farming or ranching is preferred but not required
• Comfortable working around animals and handling livestock safely
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
