About The Position

Munich Airport NJ LLC is an US-based subsidiary of the German Airport Operator Munich Airport. Munich Airport NJ LLC is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and concession management of Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). We are looking for a Ramp Operations Supervisor to join our team as soon as possible. You will be part of a quickly growing team, helping not only to create an attractive passenger terminal, but also to develop the Terminal Operator company with your expertise and personality.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent certificate
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Relevant experience in airport airside operations OR Five years of experience in a ramp operations leadership role
Extensive knowledge of airside processes
High level of independence and responsibility
In-depth experience and knowledge of the airport topography
Full understanding of ramp control to flight deck communication
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely on ground-to-ground radios
Basic knowledge of MS Office

Responsibilities

Ensure safe operations of New Terminal A's ramp
Routinely check on general ramp surface conditions, including cleanliness, clarity of all paint markings and signs and functionality of infrastructure (e.g., lighting, aircraft docking systems, etc.)
Inspect correct parking of aircraft, vehicles, and equipment
Conduct daily work in close cooperation and coordination with Operations Control Center (OCC) and ramp control situated in the Virtual Apron Control Room (VACR)
Coordination of non-standard aircraft parking procedures
Ensure immediate reporting of any incidents, accidents, and failures of technical components at the New Terminal A
Monitoring of construction and maintenance projects on the ramp
Maintain and complete daily log for shift handover
Other duties as assigned by the Terminal Operations Manager
