About the position
The Dealer Relationship Representative at OneMain Financial is responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with auto and powersports dealers. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting dealers with loan origination, and ensuring overall dealer performance. The representative will also analyze sales prospects and monitor market competition to enhance business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential dealers and develop new business relationships in the auto and powersports sectors.
- Familiarize dealer staff with OneMain Financial's programs and services.
- Assist dealer partners with loan origination and deal funding processes.
- Monitor and enhance overall dealer performance from set-up to credit quality.
- Collaborate with management to analyze sales prospects and market trends.
- Gather and report on competitive marketplace information regarding pricing and products.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and developing solutions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required with equivalent work experience in a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in the auto dealer or finance industry, with a strong understanding of credit and lending.
- Reliable internet and telephone service, and a dedicated home office or workspace.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle records history.
