Responsibilities
- Responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols
- Maintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department
- Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes
- Prepare examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs
- Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines
- Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
- May be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off site diagnostic locations
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology with a full scope of practice or evidence of Radiologic Technology training from United States Military
- Minimum 1 year experience working as a radiology technologist (preferred)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required)
- Registered with ARRT
