About the position

The Radiology Tech I position at Saint Joseph Medical Center involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols and regulations. The role requires effective interaction with customers to meet their imaging needs and participation in quality control activities. The technician is also responsible for processing and transmitting images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols and regulations.
• Functions as the first line interface with customers to meet their imaging needs.
• Participates in Performance Improvement/Quality Control activities.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Requirements

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-R certification is required.
• Familiarity with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
