The Radiology Multi- Modality Technologist - Nights is responsible for maintaining active status in the modalities they practice. They will assist the department coordinator by providing clinical leadership, completing projects, advanced level clinical duties, and regular assignments. This role requires competence in all exams performed within the assigned modalities, corroborating patient clinical history with procedures, and preparing patients for procedures. The technologist will select and operate imaging equipment, position patients, practice aseptic technique, administer contrast media, and initiate basic life support when necessary. They will also provide patient education, input for supply and equipment decisions, and practical instruction for students and partners. Adherence to universal protocol, standard precautions, and patient safety principles is essential.
