About The Position
Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for a Full-Time Radiologist Technologist (ARRT Certified). The schedule is a 4-day work week with one evening until 8 pm and one Saturday per month. The successful candidate must have solid experience and advanced knowledge in radiology and may be trained in clinical laboratory experience. The position involves operating x-ray equipment, processing images, maintaining quality standards, performing phlebotomy, collecting and processing various specimens, and performing analysis of bodily fluids.
Requirements
- Associate degree from accredited radiography program
- ARRT certification and IA Permit to Practice Diagnostic Radiology required
- Basic computer and data entry skills
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years radiology experience preferred
- Previous clinical laboratory experience a definite plus (will train)
Responsibilities
- Maintain, operate and adjust x-ray equipment using proper radiographic exposure techniques.
- Process images and match with appropriate paperwork for interpretation.
- Demonstrate acceptable film quality standards by critiquing position, technical factors, and collimation.
- Perform phlebotomy: venous, capillary, and heel.
- Collect and process throat, nasal and urine specimens
- Perform blood, urine, or other bodily fluid analysis
