About The Position

The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, Department of Radiology, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible radiologist with a special interest in Thoracic/Chest Imaging. This role involves practicing at the highest level of clinical excellence within a collaborative environment that fosters professional growth and camaraderie. The position also contributes to the training of medical students, residents, and fellows. The department has a team of over 45 radiology specialists.

Requirements

  • M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
  • Board eligibility or certification in Radiology
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to employment

  • Fellowship training in Thoracic Imaging or similar

Responsibilities

  • Interpret a range of thoracic imaging studies, such as radiography, CT, MRI of chest, for inpatient, outpatient and level one trauma center.
  • Provide consultation to pulmonology, thoracic surgery, oncology, and lung transplant programs.
  • Participate in oncology screening program for lung cancer and support imaging services for thoracic malignancies.
  • Educate and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students with case readouts, conferences, and formal teaching activities.
