About the position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technician to join our team of travelers at a hospital in Beaverton, OR. This role is crucial in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients, ensuring optimal image quality and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of radiographic procedures, including general radiography, fluoroscopy, and special procedures as needed.
- Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Operate imaging equipment effectively and efficiently, ensuring optimal image quality.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Current Oregon State Radiologic Technologist License (or pending)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
