The Radiologic Technologist will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, perform routine radiographic studies, assist physicians with procedures, and perform certain ancillary diagnostic testing. The ideal candidate maintains high accuracy in imaging technique, ensures patient safety/comfort, and participates in quality control and compliance duties.

  • Operate x-ray and related diagnostic imaging equipment in compliance with established protocols
  • Perform digital radiographs, upload images securely, and document findings
  • Perform and assist in troubleshooting, equipment calibration, quality assurance tasks
  • Support PACS image archival, retrieval, and documentation workflows
  • Assist physicians with imaging procedures and coordinate with other healthcare providers
  • Prepare digital images and B-READ (or equivalent) forms for review
  • Perform additional testing (e.g. audiograms, visual acuity, ocular tension, PFTs, ECGs, vital signs) as needed
  • Adhere to radiation safety (ALARA), regulatory, and institutional policies
  • Maintain annual competencies, required certifications, and continuing education credits
  • Execute monthly QA / compliance responsibilities
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Must obtain Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) within 90 days of hire
  • Prior experience in radiographic imaging and exams, with precision and speed
  • Solid understanding of radiation safety, positioning, exposure technique, state/federal regulations
  • Experience with PACS, EMR systems, imaging workflows, and data/documentation
  • Strong communication skills (patients, providers, team)
  • High integrity and confidentiality in clinical practice
  • Ability to attend a required one-week out-of-state training (all travel arrangements covered)
  • Dress code: business professional or scrubs (natural hair colors only; natural nails)
  • Physical ability: standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, good visual acuity and manual dexterity
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to meet the training requirement
  • Must be U.S. Citizenship or National and have ability to successfully obtain necessary security clearance.
