Radiologic Technologist – MRI
About The Position
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist – MRI to perform technical imaging examinations and complex and specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems. This role involves working independently with all patient age groups and varying locations. The technologist will be responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Collaboration with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and triage routine and emergent procedures is key. Additionally, participation in the instruction of other fellows, residents, physicians, and visiting health care professionals, and potentially clinical research, is expected.
Requirements
- Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required
- Previous healthcare experience Required
- Wisconsin Radiological License
- ARRT Radiography (R) Certification Upon Hire Required or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) Upon Hire Required
- ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification within 30 months Required
- CPR certification within 3 months Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred
- 2 years of clinical experience Preferred
- WI Radiological License is not necessary if ARRT (MR) certification was obtained via the post primary pathway. Upon Hire Preferred
