About the position

The Radio Frequency Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various radio equipment and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of network infrastructure and telecommunications technologies, ensuring effective communication systems are operational.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair radio equipment and systems.
• Perform fiber splicing and cabling for radio equipment installations.
• Utilize voltmeters to test and troubleshoot radio systems.
• Operate bucket trucks for elevated installations and repairs.
• Maintain and repair computer networking systems related to radio communications.
• Use hand tools to assemble and disassemble radio components.
• Ensure proper low voltage wiring for radio equipment.
• Troubleshoot LAN connectivity issues.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of telecommunication systems.

Requirements

• Previous experience in radio equipment installation and maintenance is preferred.
• Proficiency in fiber splicing, cabling, and network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with operating voltmeters and hand tools.
• Experience working with bucket trucks for elevated installations is a plus.
• Knowledge of computer networking and LAN configurations.
