About The Position
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist - Oncology for a 13-week travel assignment in Petoskey, MI. This role involves administering radiation therapy, monitoring patients, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The position guarantees 40 hours per week, with potential for 4/10 hour shifts. The start date is June 29, 2026. A strict attendance policy is in effect, with termination after three instances of absence or lateness beyond 20 minutes, though exceptions may be made for documented medical situations. The role requires a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of radiation therapist experience
- ARRT (T) certification
- At least 1 year travel experience required OR work experience (post-graduation) with Varian and ARIA
- Current Active American Heart Association BLS credentials
- Meet Michigan State License Requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
- Pass drug screen and background check
- Complete additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities
- Describing the treatment to patients and answering questions about the process
- Reviewing patient records and treatment plans to ensure radiation gets administered properly
- Preparing and marking the treatment site based on tumor location
- Calibrating, operating, maintaining and troubleshooting the linear accelerator used for radiation therapy
- Monitoring the patient during and after treatment and responding to side effects or unexpected reactions
- Updating patient records with information about radiation therapy sessions
- Adhering to radiation safety, infection control and patient privacy policies and regulations
