The successful candidate will position patients for treatment with accuracy according to prescription, educate, prepare, and reassure patients and their families by answering questions, providing physical assistance, and reinforcing physicians' advice regarding treatment reactions and post-treatment care. Additionally, the role fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors, contributes to the training of radiation therapy students, and demonstrates continued professional growth through setting goals and participating in educational offerings.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
• Administer daily prescribed doses for radiation therapy treatments.

Requirements

• Zero to less than 1 year of related work experience.
• An active Registered Radiation Therapist verified by ARRT.
