About the position
The Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) at ConvenientMD is responsible for performing radiologic procedures and managing radiographic equipment while ensuring patient care and satisfaction. This role involves collaboration with clinical team members and requires adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures. The RT will also assist with patient triage and other clinic functions, contributing to a positive healthcare experience for patients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and perform radiologic procedures following CMD and ARRT protocols.
- Utilize radiation protection and shielding equipment following ALARA principles.
- Navigate PACS system to confirm studies for interpretation and communicate with radiologists.
- Assist with patient triage and POC testing to ensure superior customer satisfaction.
- Handle telephone communications for verification and clarification of outside radiology orders.
- Ensure operation of clinical equipment by completing preventive maintenance and reporting repair needs.
Requirements
- Current state licensure
- ARRT certification
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification
Nice-to-haves
- American Red Cross BLS Certification Accepted
