About the position

Munson Healthcare is excited to announce the opening of our new Petoskey Community Health Center, a key access point for the northeast region. We are seeking dedicated and passionate professionals to join our team across various positions. The center will offer comprehensive services including primary care, urgent care, radiology (CT and mammography), lab services, and specialty care in cardiology, cardiac diagnostics, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, and nephrology. As a Rad Tech Multi-Modality Technologist, you will work under minimal supervision to perform a wide range of radiologic techniques and procedures across two or more imaging modalities (e.g., Radiography, CT, Mammography, Bone Density). Technologists are hired as Radiologic Technologists and promoted to the Multimodality role after completing the required competencies. This role supports Munson Healthcare's commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care through consistent image quality, safety, and collaboration with other care team members. Daily responsibilities include equipment operation, patient positioning, image acquisition, assistance with procedures, adherence to ALARA and safety standards, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked imaging environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of radiologic techniques and procedures across two or more imaging modalities.
  • Operate imaging equipment and ensure patient positioning for optimal image acquisition.
  • Assist with procedures and maintain adherence to ALARA and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked imaging environment.

Requirements

  • ARRT certification and registration in Radiologic Technology (in good standing).
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a Radiology subspecialty such as Radiography, Mammography, Bone Density, or CT.
  • Current BLS certification with annual renewal.
