About the position

The Quality Technician role at Roll Forming Corporation is focused on ensuring product quality through inspections and collaboration with various teams. This position is essential for maintaining high standards in manufacturing processes and delivering quality products to customers. The technician will work primarily on weekends, performing inspections on raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods, while also having opportunities for training and advancement.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to customer requirements on raw material, in-process, and finished goods.
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, and other tools for quality inspections.
• Participate in advanced quality planning as needed.
• Conduct product audits and raw material inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

Requirements

• Experience performing quality inspections to customer requirements.
• Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and quality plans.
• Ability to perform data entry and proficient in Microsoft products and manufacturing software.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with shifting priorities.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with quality planning FMEA and Control Plans.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Experience training others.
