About the position
The Quality Engineering Co-Op position at Crown Equipment Corporation is designed for students pursuing an Engineering degree, providing hands-on experience in quality engineering principles. Responsibilities
- Assist and support the Quality Engineering role of an assigned project under general supervision.
- Review and interpret purchased and manufactured product drawings.
- Learn defect evaluation techniques.
- Gain understanding of inspection and quality test equipment capabilities.
- Review opportunities for improvement and help identify solutions using data.
- Work closely with production employees and supporting roles to gather data.
- Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to support problem-solving and solutions.
- Complete assignments and projects to illustrate key learnings and knowledge of Quality Engineering Principles.
Requirements
- Candidate must be enrolled and pursuing an Engineering degree with an interest in Quality.
- Proficiency in using Excel and pivot tables.
- Good analytical and communication skills required.
- Must have own reliable means of transportation.
