About the position
As a Quality Engineer at GS1 US, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of information technology services. This position involves designing and executing tests, developing quality assurance standards, and collaborating with development teams to ensure software quality. Responsibilities
- Design and develop test plans and test cases based on functional and design specifications.
- Execute test cases and analyze and report test results to the teams.
- Participate in internal and cross-team meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, and technical reviews in a safe Agile environment.
- Engage in functional, system, and regression testing activities.
- Capture quality assurance data and metrics to provide insights to the management team.
- Estimate and perform risk analysis for quality delivery.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and collaborate with relevant teams to execute on ideas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent educational qualifications.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
- Proficiency in test management and bug reporting tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.
- Experience with D365 modules, including Finance and Operations and CRM.
- Proficient in API testing tools like Postman and Rest Assured.
- Experience using web analysis tools (Chrome Developer Tools, Web Developer Toolbar, etc.).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to execute tasks independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with test management tools like Azure DevOps.
