Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify compliance with quality specifications.
  • Utilize various measurement tools and techniques to assess product quality, including visual inspection and functional testing.
  • Accurately document inspection results, including non-conformance reports and corrective actions taken.
  • Prepare and maintain quality reports that summarize findings, trends, and recommendations for improvements.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicate inspection results and quality metrics effectively to relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for defects and collaborate with teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous quality enhancement efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality procedures.
  • Assist in conducting internal audits and support external audits as needed.
  • Provide training and support to junior quality control staff on inspection techniques and quality standards.
  • Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement among team members.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends, deviations, and areas needing attention.
  • Utilize statistical tools and software to assist in quality analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure that inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained according to established protocols.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinate maintenance as necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in quality control or inspection with significant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes, inspection techniques, and measurement tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with quality control software and data analysis tools.
