About the position

The Quality Control Intern will support the Quality Control team by assisting with various tasks related to concrete material testing and quality control processes. This internship offers hands-on experience in a professional environment, focusing on mix designs, field and lab testing, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in lab and field testing of concrete and aggregates under the guidance of senior team members.
• Help with trail batching processes, including material preparation and testing.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and ensure inventory control for lab supplies and materials.
• Assist in preparing project submittals and entering data into systems like Stonemont.
• Conduct basic aggregate and concrete testing.
• Help maintain and calibrate laboratory and field equipment.
• Observe and participate in pre-job meetings to learn about quality-related challenges.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Concrete Management, Civil Management, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of concrete and aggregate testing or coursework in a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
