About the position

As a Quality Control Inspector at MasTec Communications Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of quality service in a safety-minded environment. This position involves developing new skills and contributing to the expansion of technology for better community service. You will be responsible for monitoring and establishing defined processes in project activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and providing technical expertise in quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily QC responsibilities associated with project activities.
  • Provide specialized technical expertise in support of the Quality program.
  • Create inspection reports to ensure work area conditions meet requirements.
  • Make recommendations for corrective action based on inspections.
  • Implement performance evaluation principles to improve product systems.
  • Generate reports of conditions found during inspections and notify management of significant problems.
  • Assist in documentation to attest to the satisfactory completion of inspections.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of verifiable experience in the telecommunications and/or construction field.
  • Understanding of drawings, permits, and specifications relevant to the Fiber, Cellular, and/or Cable industry.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
