About The Position
The Quality Auditor will provide general support to the QA department. This role involves inspecting questionable raw materials before they enter the production process to determine if they meet standards and specifications or require discarding. The auditor will document non-conforming materials, prepare data and photographs, and work with internal and external customers. Responsibilities also include auditing Work-In-Progress (WIP) and finished goods, assisting in training efforts to build quality into the manufacturing process, and setting an example for peers in quality and safety. The role may also involve creating visual aids for product packaging or foam qualities, adhering to 5s and Safety policies, and assisting in meeting productivity standards.
