The Quality Assurance Technician will operate scales, verifying that product samples fall within specified ranges, record data on paper and the computer system(s). Observes employees and confirm compliance with safe food handling practices while monitoring HACCP documentation to confirm compliance with the HACCP plan.

  • Perform unbiased product quality testing in assigned area.
  • Keep an accurate and legible record of all testing completed.
  • Ensure product safety and sanitary conditions are always maintained in the processing areas.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
  • Knowledge of GMP’s.
  • Prior experience in Quality Control.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within our company.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Have a good attendance history – 4 points or less.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
  • Be willing to be cross-trained and learn all tasks in the department.
  • Have the ability to perform basic mathematics.
  • Know how to effectively manage time to complete all assigned tasks.
  • Extended shifts may be required.
