About the position

The Inventory & Quality Control Associate at Aero Healthcare is responsible for ensuring the company's objectives for quality and accuracy of inventory are met while maintaining high quality and regulatory standards. This role requires efficiency, accuracy, and excellent communication skills to succeed in performing quality control inspections and managing inventory processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform QC Inspection of incoming shipments according to FDA regulations and company SOPs.
  • Follow current SOPs and use current Inspection Forms.
  • Initiate the supplier corrective action process when a supplier non-conformance is identified.
  • Train new employees in the area on QC Inspection processes as required.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Report all quality problems and discrepancies to the Regulatory Manager.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of all inventory functions.
  • Lead cycle counts and review/report any variances.
  • Analyze daily inventory movements and assist in investigating issues related to inventory discrepancies.
  • Work with the warehouse team to organize and maintain all inventory locations both physically and systematically.
  • Assist in keeping the warehouse clean and help where workers are getting behind.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in inventory control (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Expert knowledge with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control systems.
  • Seasoned knowledge of inventory practices, procedures, and techniques.
  • Excellent knowledge of QA practices, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret essential job-related documents.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
