About The Position

The Quality Assurance Development Program (QDP) is designed for individuals interested in building a long-term career in technology and quality assurance. Participants will develop the skills to analyze, question, and improve software before it reaches members. The Quality Assurance (QA) Team at Meridian Credit Union is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of changes across internal and external applications before production release. Their role involves assessing risk, validating requirements, identifying gaps, and ensuring changes meet business needs and member expectations. The program aims to develop analytical, quality-focused thinkers through structured learning and hands-on experience, building a foundation in software testing, critical thinking about system behavior, and exposure to modern QA tools and technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years knowledge and experience of Meridian’s applications (Encore, Ovation, Intellilender, Trellis, Online Banking, Mobile App)
  • Post-secondary education (College/University)
  • Strong interest in technology, AI, quality, and continuous learning
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and eagerness to learn new skills

  • Assess risk early

  • Develop test cases and test scripts
  • Develop Test Strategies
  • Complete UAT documents
  • Perform environment duties
  • Execute test cases, test scripts and log Defects
  • Prepare QA Sign offs
  • Execute Integration & PIV scripts
