About the position
The Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP) role at Life Strategies Counseling Inc, part of the Optum family, focuses on enhancing patient wellness and autonomy through advocacy, communication, education, and resource facilitation. This position is integral to the Optum Behavioral Care Team's mission to revolutionize behavioral health care delivery, ensuring patients receive comprehensive support for their physical, mental, and social needs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate services both within and outside of Life Strategies Counseling, including counseling, medication management, welfare, and vocational services.
- Achieve at least 60% Level of Care on individual and collateral visits.
- Conduct home visits at least once per month with client and guardian.
- Provide transportation as needed for clients.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel independently.

- 1+ years of related experience and/or training.
- Proven solid communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate resources.
