About the position
The Restaurant Shift Lead position at Circle K is responsible for supervising the operations of a restaurant shift, ensuring that all guests receive excellent service and that the team adheres to company and brand operational standards. This role involves coordinating team members, maintaining a clean environment, and ensuring food safety and quality during the shift.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the operations of a shift in the restaurant.
- Provide excellent guest service and coach team members to do the same.
- Maintain a clean restaurant environment through general housekeeping duties.
- Assign shift duties to team members and ensure completion.
- Direct the team to ensure food items are prepared and served according to regulations.
- Coach team members on food preparation and production management guidelines.
- Monitor and ensure accuracy of cash, sales, and inventory control records during the shift.
- Complete end of shift and end of day paperwork and counts as required.
- Communicate any discrepancies to the immediate supervisor.
- Guarantee a safe environment for team members and guests by following safety codes and laws.
- Complete reports on incidents following the 5-minute rule policy.
