About The Position
This position is responsible for sampling, testing, and inspecting construction materials or elements in a laboratory or field setting to ensure compliance with the supplier and/or owner specifications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience
- 0-2 years of related experience required
- Basic computer skills
- DL required
- Ability to to be on your feet and lift up to 50 pounds

- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive
Responsibilities
- Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products
- Obtain and maintain certifications as required to perform testing.
- Maintain thorough understanding of specifications, testing and reporting requirements.
- Ability to communicate and schedule QC activities with crew and inspection personnel.
- Ability to interpret specifications and discuss/argue with crew and inspection staff.
- Ability to make decisions based on knowledge of specifications and testing requirements.
- Interprets engineering drawings to make sure work is being performed in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Collect material samples, send samples to lab, interpret test results and distribute information to crews and inspection staff.
- Maintain all QC log books and reports in accordance with specifications.
- Follow all OSHA and Company safety policies and procedures, including attendance at safety meetings
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
