The Supervisor, Quality Control will lead, provide guidance and resources to Inspectors to ensure inspections are performed efficiently and timely in accordance with Company Manuals. Responsibilities

  • Provide direction to Inspectors ensuring a team focus is present and maintained.
  • Coordinate with each shift as required to ensure work-flow continuity.
  • Provide guidance and oversight ensuring Inspectors coordinate and execute daily inspections.
  • Work collectively with Inspectors to ensure required inspections are accomplished in compliance with Company policies and manuals.
  • Ensure Inspectors are highly trained and effective.
  • Ensure Inspectors are continuously surfacing and resolving issues that prevent the performance of work from being performed efficiently.
  • Continuously improve the performance and readiness of the Quality Control Department.
  • Determine airworthiness of company aircraft.
  • Confirm damage/Inspection results found by QC Inspectors and coordinate with the Maintenance team for repairs.
  • Effectively cope with change in flight schedule and routing.
  • Dedicated to meeting and exceeding expectations of all Inspection requirements.
  • Committed to working hard focusing on day to day challenges of Inspection requirements.
  • Maintain composure in stressful situations.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years commercial aircraft maintenance experience
  • 3-5 years of commercial aviation maintenance team leadership
  • Experienced and current on FAA certification of parts and material
  • 2-3 years of hands on leadership with the A320 Family of aircraft preferred
  • Must be able to quickly analyze and improve Quality Control workflow
  • Must be able to effectively present ideas to the Manager, Quality Control
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with subordinates, peers and vendors
  • Must demonstrate the ability to use and adapt to standard MS computer software and various tools.
