About The Position

This is a long-term maintenance project role focused on quality assurance and control. The technician will inspect and ensure work performed complies with applicable codes and specifications. The role requires understanding and working knowledge of the company's quality control program, standards, procedures, and codes. Responsibilities include performing audits, completing records, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring a clean work environment. Safety is paramount, and the technician must observe all safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment.

Requirements

Typically 3 years and above documented field experience in chosen craft discipline with ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan and perform work activities independently.
Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
Apply shop mathematics to solve problems.
Plan work and select proper tools.
Compare and see differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects.
Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
Make decisions based on measurable criteria.
Work at heights without fear.

Responsibilities

Inspects accepts and/or rejects work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications.
Understanding and working knowledge of the company quality control program, company standards, procedures and codes.
Performs audits to ensure compliance.
Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
Performs other duties as required.
