About The Position

As an Integrations QA/QC Engineer, you will ensure the reliability, functionality, and integration quality of complex hardware systems across our autonomous platforms. This role will focus on validating subsystem integrations spanning avionics, compute, sensors, communications, power systems, embedded electronics, and autonomy-enabling hardware.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in hardware QA/QC, systems integration, validation engineering, or test engineering
  • Experience working with complex electromechanical or embedded systems
  • Strong hands-on debugging and troubleshooting skills across hardware and integrated systems
  • Experience executing structured test plans and documenting validation results
  • Comfortable working in Linux-based and embedded system environments
  • Strong organizational and cross-functional communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with UAVs, robotics, aerospace, defense, or autonomous systems
  • Familiarity with RF systems, telemetry, networking, or sensor integration
  • Experience supporting hardware bring-up and prototype development cycles
  • Exposure to manufacturing quality systems and production test processes
  • Experience with environmental, vibration, thermal, or reliability testing
  • Familiarity with embedded software validation or hardware/software integration workflows
  • Experience with scripting or automation tools for test execution and data analysis (Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Knowledge of safety-critical system validation practices

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the development and execution of QA/QC processes for integrated hardware systems and autonomous platforms
  • Create and maintain integration test plans, validation procedures, acceptance criteria, and quality documentation
  • Validate subsystem interoperability across compute, sensors, RF systems, embedded electronics, power systems, networking, and mechanical assemblies
  • Perform system-level integration testing, environmental testing, bring-up, and troubleshooting activities
  • Support hardware verification efforts, including functional, regression, stress, and reliability testing
  • Coordinate closely with electrical, mechanical, embedded software, autonomy, and manufacturing teams during integration and validation activities
  • Investigate hardware failures, integration defects, and intermittent system issues; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), bench, and field testing activities for autonomous systems
  • Assist with manufacturing quality processes, incoming inspections, and production validation workflows as needed
  • Improve test infrastructure, automation tools, data collection processes, and release readiness criteria
  • Track quality metrics and integration issues to support rapid development cycles and continuous improvement
