About the position
The Purchasing Specialist at Venza Care plays a crucial role in ensuring that various facilities have the necessary supplies while adhering to budgetary constraints. Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact between facility staff and external vendors.
- Oversee the ordering of various supplies for each facility on a weekly basis.
- Ensure that all orders stay within the assigned budget while meeting the needs of the facilities.
- Train facility staff on how to use platform solutions for ordering and managing supplies.
- Work closely with other departments to guide and support best practices and promote a culture of efficiency and communication.
- Proactively source items needed across facilities, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field or relevant experience.
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with facility staff and external vendors.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while staying within budget constraints.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with purchasing software or platforms is a plus.
