About The Position

The Public Area Executive ensures that all public spaces within the hotel are clean, well-maintained, safe, and presentable at all times. This role involves routine cleaning, inspection, and upkeep of lobbies, corridors, restrooms, banquet areas, recreational facilities, and other common areas.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, facility maintenance, or hospitality is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical handling.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including: Lobby and reception areas, Corridors and elevators, Public restrooms, Restaurants and banquet spaces, Meeting rooms, Gym, spa, and recreational facilities, Outdoor entrances and walkways.
  • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces.
  • Ensure public washrooms are stocked with supplies such as soap, tissues, and hand towels.
  • Remove trash and maintain waste disposal areas.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning machinery safely.
  • Follow hotel cleanliness standards, hygiene procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Assist with deep-cleaning projects and special events setup when required.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests related to public area cleanliness.
  • Maintain proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
