About the position
The Public Affairs Fellowship at VOX Global is a full-time, paid position designed for recent graduates interested in gaining hands-on experience in strategic communications. The fellowship offers a hybrid work model, allowing fellows to work in-person three days a week in Washington, DC, and remotely for two days. This role provides an opportunity to engage in various tasks such as writing, research, media outreach, and social media analytics, while also participating in professional development trainings. High-performing fellows may be considered for long-term opportunities within the company.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and media sweeps
- Assist with media outreach
- Draft content for various mediums
- Work closely with all levels of the organization on client projects
- Refine writing and research skills
- Train on industry tools
Requirements
- College graduate with at least two prior internships or campus experience in communications, public relations, public affairs, or related fields
- Ability to work 40 hours a week
- Ability to work in-person three days a week in the DC office (Tuesday-Thursday) and remotely two days a week (Monday and Friday)
- Demonstrated interest in communications, public relations, public affairs, and/or related fields
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
