About the position

The PT Pharmacist (Benes Eligible) position at Giant involves working in the pharmacy department as a floater. This role is essential in providing pharmaceutical care to our customers and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients on medication use, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes. This position is part-time and eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
• Active pharmacist license in the state of Washington, DC.

• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
