About The Position
The Rapid City Journal is seeking a dependable part-time packaging inserter to join the team due to expansion of the products we print. This position works M, W, and F from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 6:00 AM to Noon.
Requirements
- at least 18 years of age
- demonstrate a positive attendance record
- ability to work rotating evenings, nights, and weekends
Responsibilities
- operating inserting machine
- feeding pre-prints into insert machine hoppers
- verifying counts of papers
- labeling and topping of bundles
- bundling and shipping papers and pre-prints
- operate a hydraulic pallet jack and powered strapping equipment
- clean the work area as needed
- other duties as assigned including janitorial duties
